Custom Painted Antique Signs Visit my SIGN GALLERY for additional samples of my art work.
Holgate's Custom Painted Antique Signs will appear as though they have been out in the weather, and painted 20 to 40 years ago. The aged look is very natural, unlike a piece processed from a machine or computer to look old. This is what I also love about antique sign making, it puts the sign artist back in the picture. Since you are the customer, I do something different than most artists this day and age. I paint things you want your sign to say, not necessarily what I think they should say. You may custom order a sign that you remember from the past, one that you have always wanted or imagined, or just order something of importance to you.
Another route to go is, if you have something of which you choose to have a sign from, it can be shipped to me for custom painting.
Ordering
is simple:
Also, state what colors you would like to included in your custom sign, and the approximate size. If email, please include your contact information including your email address and telephone number and I will respond with an email and then a telephone call to discuss your custom painted sign.
I will require a 25% downpayment. Upon receipt of the downpayment I will send you a sketch of the proposed sign. Upon your approval of sketch I will paint the sign. When I have completed your custom painted sign, I will email a photo of the sign and will request the remaining balance due. I will ship your new custom painted antique sign as soon as I receive final payment. My fee is by the hour, I charge a One Hour minimum with the rate being $100.00 per hour. The reason I charge by the hour, and not by the picture so to speak, is simple. Not one of my signs is better than another, they are all of the highest quality. For top quality Custom Painted Antique Signs, call Holgate. Also, check out my SIGN GALLERY for additional photos of my work. Miscellaneous items can also be custom painted with your favorite insignia or theme. The photo to the left is of a hand painted lamp that my client wanted in the traditional Harley Davidson style with flames and jagged lettering. Now he is enjoying his lamp so much more than before!
